Are you using Zoom? You probably are. Everyone who's had to work, or do schoolwork, from home during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has been using the video-conferencing platform for meetings, classes, and even social gatherings.

That is all okay, but if you have questions like why does zoom ask date of birth, how can we change it, then you are at the right place.

People say zoom only wants to check which age group is using their product, but that is not the case, zoom doesn’t store your DOB for future use. 

Still, Zoom has a limit of 16 yrs ( check here ZOOM TERMS OF SERVICE  )

In ZOOM TERMS OF SERVICE, it does not mention any specific reason for that,

ELIGIBILITY. Zoom is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16, unless it is through a School Subscriber (as that term is defined in the Services Description) using Zoom for Education (K-12).

It simply says people elder than 16yr can't use their product (zoom).

Zoom is for business use, and hence it's not for 16yr.

How to change Date of Birth in Zoom?

As you have already seen in the pics shared above, it says This data will not be stored, so there is no need to change the date of birth As it is not stored in zoom's servers.

Simply you have no option to change your data.
